New Materials, New Sculptures

I am really excited about a new body of work that I've just begun. I've been playing with cardboard inserts that come in shipper boxes. I don't have an idea of the form that I will create, I just start putting the cardboard pieces together and see what they become. My only criteria is that I use all the materials that I have on hand. Here are images of two sculptures that I recently created out of inserts that came from boxes that shipped bottles of tupelo honey from Savannah, Georgia.

I have a bunch more inserts from other shipper boxes still to play with. I can't wait to see what other forms emerge. This is definitely a new experience for me and so far it's been a lot of fun.
